The oldest Monastrell grapevines in our estate, known to produce short-season, highly concentrated wines, are blended with Cabernet Sauvignon to make this noble wine, which is aged for twelve months in barrels made from France’s best woods before being poured into sober, elegant bottles. We pride ourselves on this wine as it embodies the greatest values of Jumilla’s winegrowing tradition. Enjoy it with your heartiest, most succulent dishes.
It is a wine with an intense cherry-red color and violet hues. Its bouquet reveals notes of red fruit, raisins, licorice, spices and minerals which lend it great complexity. On the palate it is powerful, fruity and balsamic, with a broad-ranging, elegant, flavorful taste filled with varietal sensations, sweet tannins and well-assimilated acidity. It is and elegant wine great personality which subtly transmits the character of its milieu.
